The Derbyshire Association has a well publicised site and this could be an excellent forum for sharing resources and good practice. 
 
If nothing else, it could at least prevent others from re-inventing the wheel.

President's Dinner
 
This years Presidents Dinner was held at theat the 'Maazi' Indian restaurant in Matlock which was attended by 40 Derbyshire division members and guests. Our president, Jane Stanley, welcomed her and Baljeet spoke stirringly on various current issues and the campaigns we are leading. The guest of honour was 
 
In the afternoon she visited Breadsall Primary, a small school just outside Derby with an NUT Head, Gail Goodman. Baljeet visited all the classes and was particularly interested in the project that the Y3&4 were doing on India. They were a bit non-plussed when she told them she was Indian as I don't think they thought the accent fitted!. The school cook had baked loads of very fine cakes which Baljeet and I were expected to eat. Luckily the staff helped out when we spent some time with them after the children had gone home.
